Those who choose our solutions for hotels and resorts choose furniture designed to meet both requirements.

Customisation is not a luxury in this context, but a logical choice. A hotel terrace has different dimensions from a standard garden. A wellness resort requires different materials from a beach club by the sea. Dutch Rivièra supplies furniture that is tailored to the location, brand identity and intended use. Everything is handcrafted in our workshop in Valkenswaard, without intermediaries.
Custom-made furniture for hotels and resorts
Hotels and resorts continuously invest in guest experience. The outdoor space plays an ever-growing role in that. Yet at Dutch Rivièra we see many hospitality partners struggling with the same problem: standard furniture doesn’t fit the hotel’s identity and doesn’t hold up to the intensive strain of daily use. Choosing our solutions for hotels and resorts means choosing furniture designed to meet both requirements.

Custom-made is not a luxury here, but a logical choice. A hotel terrace has different dimensions than a standard garden. A wellness resort requires different materials than a beach club by the sea. Dutch Rivièra supplies furniture that precisely matches the location, house style and use. Everything is handmade in our workshop in Valkenswaard, without middlemen.

Why standard furniture falls short in hospitality

Standard lounge sets are designed for occasional use in a private garden. In a hotel environment, guests use them all day, day after day, season after season. The load is considerably higher than with private use, which is why more and more hospitality partners deliberately choose furniture built to withstand this intensity.

Materials that suffice for home use wear out faster than expected in a hospitality environment. The upholstery discolours, the filling sinks, and the frame warps. That has direct consequences for the hotel’s appearance and guest satisfaction.

Dutch Rivièra produces furniture specifically tailored to intensive use. The frames are made of powder-coated aluminium or stainless steel, both corrosion-resistant and extremely durable. The filling consists of Quick Dry Foam or open-structure Dacron, so rainwater drains quickly and the cushions are dry and fresh again for the next guest.

Every project starts with a good conversation

At Dutch Rivièra we start every hotel project with an intake conversation. We ask about the location, the climate, the occupancy rate and the desired look. Only then do we begin the design.

That approach makes a big difference. A coastal resort deals with salty sea air and higher wind loads. A rooftop terrace in a city calls for lightweight furniture that’s easy to move. A spa in a wooded setting might want warmer colours that match nature. We take all these factors into account.

Hotel partners appreciate that personal approach. We don’t deliver catalogue products with a name on them, but furniture that fits the hotel’s identity. Dimensions, colour, upholstery and layout are fully tailored to the client’s wishes.

Materials that can handle hospitality

Material choice is decisive for the lifespan of the furniture in hotel projects. Dutch Rivièra works exclusively with materials proven suitable for intensive outdoor use.

For the upholstery we use solution-dyed fabrics. The colour is dyed through the fibre, so it doesn’t fade from sun or rain. That’s essential for hotels wanting to maintain a consistent look over multiple seasons. The fabrics are also easy to clean, which simplifies daily hotel operations.

The frames are standard in powder-coated aluminium or stainless steel. Both materials don’t rust and require minimal maintenance. Aluminium is lightweight and therefore practical in locations where furniture is regularly moved, such as a beach club that clears the terraces every evening. Stainless steel offers a more industrial look and is extremely strong under heavy use.

Lounge beds and daybeds for the hotel terrace

The luxury lounge bed is one of the most requested products in hotel projects. Guests want to relax, stay a long time and feel a sense of exclusivity. A good lounge bed delivers that.

Dutch Rivièra produces lounge beds in multiple versions, including the Comfort, Premium, Deluxe, Superior and XXL models. Each model is available made to measure and adjustable in upholstery and colour. For larger hotel terraces with many guests, the XXL model is a popular choice, thanks to its extra width and generous seat depth.

Daybeds are another popular solution for resorts and spas. They offer a combination of lounging comfort and visual elegance. We supply daybeds with a powder-coated aluminium frame and upholstery of your choice from our fabric range. The finish is handwork, visible in every stitch and seam.

Lounge islands and modular sofas for large outdoor spaces

Large terraces at hotels and resorts call for furniture that structures the space. A lounge island creates a clear seating area and gives guests the feeling of having their own spot on the terrace.

Dutch Rivièra produces lounge islands made to measure, tailored to the available space and desired use. We take into account walkways, accessibility for hotel staff, and placement relative to sun and wind. A well-placed lounge island increases guest dwell time and contributes to positive reviews.

Modular lounge sofas offer flexibility for terraces serving multiple functions. A lounge spot during the day, a dining area or event space in the evening: the modular setup makes it possible to quickly adjust the layout. We supply the elements so they’re easy to combine and move, without compromising on appearance.

Sauna mattresses for wellness and spa

Wellness resorts and spas require a specific type of furniture. Sauna mattresses and outdoor loungers must withstand moisture, high temperatures and intensive use. Dutch Rivièra produces sauna mattresses with a Quick Dry Foam filling and solution-dyed fabric upholstery.

The open structure of the Dacron filling lets moisture escape quickly. That’s essential in a wellness environment where mattresses get wet multiple times a day. The upholstery dries quickly and keeps its shape even after intensive use. Hotel partners in the wellness sector deliberately choose Dutch Rivièra for these practical properties combined with a high-quality appearance.
